Lee is an executive leader, strategic advisor, and coach with experience spanning major cultural institutions and a variety of clients. He has implemented effective management strategies, designed groundbreaking experiential events, and created transformative partnerships across cultural, civic, and corporate environments.

For San Francisco Opera, one of the world's leading classical music producers, Lee has spearheaded strategy development among the staff, board, and leadership team, and has created innovative experiential marketing initiatives that have successfully expanded and refreshed the narrative of a legacy brand. Achievements there include the immersive "Encounter" event series and the "Out of the Box" community partnership program, both of which have generated thousands of new, diverse audiences and significant revenue streams. Lee's leadership in stakeholder engagement and creative storytelling has resulted in successful fundraising and high-profile partnerships including with X The Moonshot Factory, Google, AWS, Samsung, and over a dozen municipal governments across the Bay Area.

While Managing Director of Operations at San Francisco Opera, Lee exercised high-level fiscal stewardship of a $25M annual department budget while leading orchestra, chorus, and dancer programming and employee groups. Overseeing a sprawling, unionized department, his tenure was marked by collaboration across the company, as well as successful labor negotiations and innovative solutions during the pandemic that maintained both payroll and healthcare for company artists.

His experience also includes leadership roles at the Los Angeles Philharmonic (Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, and on tour), Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Theatre for a New Audience, Barrington Stage Company, and Brevard Music Center.

With a BFA from SMU Meadows School of the Arts and an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, Lee combines practical innovation and management expertise with academic rigor. His approach to consulting emphasizes human-centric design methods, data-driven decision making, authentic storytelling, and the development of sustainable strategic solutions that drive both artistic excellence and organizational growth.

Lee lives in New York City and serves as VP, Production for the New York Philharmonic.
